Assalamualaikum warahmatullah...

It was a hectic day today... i had my digi 1 mid semester test...then i had a 3 hour prac class... digi 1...what else. I prepared for it...it was like 10 pages. So confident when i went into the lab...all prepared. My partner didn't prepare a single thing... his name was Dan...i think. But i prepare for my labs very well for a very good reason... i really am not good at setting up all the wires to the breadboard. I somehow think guys are really really good at it. That's why i always prefer a guy as my lab partner...coz if it's 2 girls doing the same lab...trust me.. it will not be able to get done. But one thing i notice about guys when they do labs... they don't have to do preparation, but they are able to set up the wires so easily from the diagram given..i really cant figure out how they do that. But they only know how to set wires up..when it comes to lab reports...they really suck. I can do lab reports...but honestly..i don't like to set up wires. I think i must have made Dan feel so inferior just now when he saw that i was very prepared for my lab with the 10 page lab report prewritten. But when it comes to testing the wires or setting it up.. i really didn't have a clue. He was surprised n asked "But you look so prepared". Well, i hate anything tangible..i will let him do all the dirty work..heh. Well, he said he could set the wires up, but he didn't have a clue of what to write for the lab report...so we are even! :)

I remember my lab partner for Electric Circuits last year...Peter. He was really (100x) good at wiring stuffs... I would prepare for my labs and he wouldn't do a single prep.. and it would take me a long time to interpret the circuit diagram into reality...and when i am hardly done he had already fixed all the wires up and the experiment is ready to get going. I always felt bad when i was with him coz i was not competent when it comes to practical stuffs. But somehow i realize i am not the only one. All my girl friends say the same. But at the end of the day, the girls are the one who will end up getting really high marks for their report coz guys just don't bother to write detailed explanations as much as we do-as if we understand what we are writing! That's why i am doing software engineering. I don't have to set up any wires for it.

This made me reflect on how man was made for women, and women was made for men. We are made to complete each other. Man have 9 akal..and 1 nafs. Where as women have 9 nafs, and 1 akal. And when you put it together, it fits just nice... perfect picture! Like how guys are good at setting up wires.. but not good at lab reports. And girls are the total opposite. Even though women have 9 nafs, but that does not make them handicapped compared to men just because they own 9 akal. It really depends on the job we are made for. Like if we make a robot, program it to do certain tasks... let's say clear the dining table. if it was not programmed to do other stuffs like wash the dishes, it will be very hard for the robot to do so. Coz it's features, metal hands, legs were designed specifically for a purpose. And what more if Allah the Creator has created women and men to have special tendencies. He has created women to have a very special purpose where it is very hard for a man to do, to be a mother. To bring motherly love to a child. A motherly love and a fatherly love is different. Mothers generally have a softer character, which is more suitable when the job is to bring up a child. The man was created to bear higher workload responsibility to support the family. And when he comes home at the end of the day, what else will be a heavenly present to him to see the house well kept and everybody is happy. :)

I certainly have seen a lot of clear signs that differentiates a man and a women emotionally and mentally in university. Like just now, Dan was copying some of my lab report...and there was one redundant part which was required in the lab instruction...but since it was redundant, he just said "Aah.. i'll just do one of them, it'll be fine". But the way i thought was that it was required, but if i left it out it wouldn't have made any difference in my reported results. But i still wanted it in coz it was in the instructions. And well, i guess Dan was being practical and taking the easy way towards things. Maybe that's the way guys think.. and for girls.. they are very meticulous... like me?

Hmm..its pretty late here..better get going.. Maybe i'll pen some other things some time later..

Wassalamualaikum warahmatullah...
