Allah's advice?

If there was one moment in time in your life where you could turn back, and change history, what would it be? When this question was asked to a group of my friends, all of them one by one related moments immediately before they did something bad. Moments which could have rewrote history... moments filled with regret. Moments which left a deep scar in each person's life. Moments which could have made the world a better place for everybody. Sigh. Imam Ghazali said "There is nothing better than what that has happened." No matter how bad our past was, as long as we have repented, then there is nothing better than what has had happened. Umar Al Khattab , the second caliph of the Islamic Empire stated " One of the reasons that will lead to the fall of Islam is that its believers no longer can identify what is bad." Even when SQ came home from US, after being sent there for 2 years to research about its system, he said .. "I can see everything in US, except a soul." SQ finally distinguished what is bad during his stay in New York.

What is history is history. Let is be a guide for our future. Let it not let us hold back ourselves today. We would not want to say the same words 5 years from now, how we regret not doing something good today . Our asset is not yesterday. Our asset is not tomorrow, but it is today! For yesterday is gone. Tomorrow may not be ours. Let us all pray as if it was our last prayer.

Remove the thorns from the pathway, and place it on the side. Once in awhile look behind you, as guidance so that you will not stray, look ahead to those in front of you, chase them... and together, let us walk towards jannah (heaven)...

insya allah
